Our Team

Attorneys In Texas

Lorraine Nwora is the founding attorney of the Law Office of L.C. Nwora, PLLC and a graduate of Thurgood Marshall School of Law. She built the firm to give Houston clients the kind of aggressive and compassionate advocacy she felt the city's defendants and plaintiffs deserved. Six years on the prosecution side gave her an inside view of how the criminal justice system actually moves: what evidence holds up, what arguments land with judges, and where cases break down. She uses that experience to defend her clients today.

Lorraine takes on criminal defense, personal injury, and family law matters from the firm's office in the Westchase district of Houston. The work spans Harris County's busiest courts, including the Harris County Criminal Justice Center and the Harris County Family Law Center, and reaches into Fort Bend County and the surrounding communities when a case calls for it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer initial case consultations?

Yes. Initial consultations at the Law Office of L.C. Nwora, PLLC are confidential. We meet at our Westchase office or by phone, listen to what is going on, and explain your options across Houston criminal defense, personal injury, and family law matters.

What Practice Areas Does The Firm Cover?

We focus on three: criminal defense (misdemeanors, felonies, and record sealing), personal injury (car, truck, bus, slip and fall), and family law (divorce, custody, support, modifications, and parental rights).

How Does Prosecutorial Experience Help My Case?

Our experienced attorneys bring many years of prosecutorial experience inside the Texas criminal justice system to every defense matter. That perspective shows where the State's evidence is strong, when prosecutors will negotiate, and where cases break down. It shapes every plea conversation and every trial strategy on our Houston criminal defense docket.

Where Does The Firm Represent Clients?

Our office is in the Westchase district of Houston, and we appear regularly in Harris County courts. We also accept matters in Fort Bend County and Dallas County when the facts genuinely connect to our practice.

How Fast Should I Call After An Incident Or Arrest?

As soon as possible. In criminal cases, bond conditions and discovery deadlines start running at arrest. In injury cases, evidence disappears within days. In family matters, the first filing often controls the temporary orders. Schedule a initial consultation or call (832) 703-0231.
